The Nova Associated B5 / B6 Spring Adapter comes standard is all Nova sets, and the spring/washer bag. It is not required unless you are updating an Avid Triad to a B5, or you lost the part from your Nova set.
This spring adapter fits the over a 4mm thread topshaft (needed to adapt an Avid Triad to the Associated B6 or B5M which used 4mm thread on the topshaft).
